The Virginia Computer Institute was responsible for the design of the LAN
upgrade infrastructure and procurement of the hardware and components required
to complete the LAN upgrade. The LAN consists of 1,300+ drops and was
upgraded from a 10Mbit LAN to a 1,000Mbit(1Gbit) LAN with 100Mbit to the
desktop.
