ANN CHEEKS AND JEAN SAMPSON TEAM UP FOR A GETAWAY WEEKEND
    
Join us for an idyllic weekend at the Meeting Place in the valley of Wintergreen, VA.  This Playshop (not workshop) is all about having fun and getting away from the real world for a little while.  Jean and Ann will provide all materials and help you create your very own personal mask, “magic wands” and wild woman earrings – with quick, silly writing exercises thrown into the mix.  Both women are accomplished artists, positive thinkers, and firm believers that creating is a necessity.  Artists, Cheeks and Sampson are members of the McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville, VA.
 
   

      
When not creating magical items, Jean Sampson paints gorgeous abstracts in oil, writes haiku and makes artists out of novices.  Ann Cheeks creates breathtaking landscapes and figurative mixed media paintings.  Ann teaches (and learns from) children about art.  Come alone or bring a friend/sister.………See you at the Meeting Place WOMENS PLAYSHOP will be the best “girls’ night out” X 2 you’ve ever had.
