| Gwen Weaver, Virginia Beach, VA while growing up and attending Parochial school in Kensington Maryland, always seemed to have a scrap of paper in her pocket. Folding, creasing, opening, folding, over and over throughout the day, and by afternoon dismissal, the paper was as soft and smooth as fabric. Eureka! Little did she know a major course in her life was set in stone. Gwen received and Art History degree from the University of Maryland. Gwen relaxes while she creates beautiful Origami for her friends. Students and friends know her hands are still in her lap folding paper. While having lunch recently, up came a flying crane made lovingly for a friend from a paper menu. Gwen and a Ya Ya have just finished a thousand cranes created for a friends wedding in Milwaukee and then they will fly off to the Peace Memorial in Japan for Peace Day Aug. 6, 2007. You will have mountains and valleys at your Origami Workshop. All materials will be furnished. This getaway weekend will be a favorite, come join us,.....RELAX and ENJOY!

You will fly away with - a Bowl, Climbing Monkey, Flapping Cranes, a Bunny, Basket with Handle, Open Box, Star, Box with Lid, and a Wreath. Materials will be provided by the Artist.
