| Helga Johnson will be in Wintergreen for a weekend of design and instruction for a lovely piece of jewelry for a treasured daughter, friend, or yourself. You will learn about color and design, along with beading techniques to enable you to design and create your own unique pieces of jewelry. Arrive on Friday after 4:00 pm, dinner will be on your own. We will gather for a 2 hr session with the artist Friday evening. Saturday morning after breakfast, we will continue the workshop with a break for lunch mid-day. We will plan to finish about 4:00 pm so that you can relax and freshen up for dinner. You can go up on the mountain to Devils Knob Grill (spectacular vistas), or down the road to Basic Necessities for a taste of delightful Country French. After dinner you may continue working and discussing ideas with Helga, or relax in the media room or library with a movie, music or reading. Sunday morning after breakfast we will finish our projects, pack up our treasures, and hate to leave The Meeting Place by noon (checkout time). |
